"Share market" and "stock market" are often used interchangeably to refer to the same thing: a financial market where stocks or shares of publicly traded companies are bought and sold.
However, technically speaking, the term "stock market" specifically refers to the market for the trading of stocks or shares of ownership in individual companies, while "share market" may refer more broadly to any market in which shares or ownership interests are traded, such as the market for the trading of mutual fund units, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), or other financial instruments.
In practice, however, the terms "stock market" and "share market" are often used interchangeably, and most people understand them to mean the same thing.
